Scholarships

Educational projects which promote the United States of America’s national and local history are an integral part of our mission statement.

On even numbered years the Ohio Dames will award a state scholarship to a winning Ohio student of the Congressional Essay Contest for the purpose of attending the Congressional Seminar in Washington D.C. The student will also receive up to $500 for travel expenses after receipts have been submitted.

On uneven years the Ohio Dames will award a full scholarship, plus $350 for travel expenses to a teacher to attend The Bob and Marion Wilson Teacher Institute at Colonial Williamsburg.
