Community Outreach

We love history! And we love our Ohio communities. This year the Dames chose to support the new William Henry Harrison Riverfront Park in North Bend by donating to a new carillon, which will play during their summer events.

And the award goes to...

This is OUR year to celebrate being honored with the NSCDA American Heritage Award.

We are thrilled to donate a beautiful carillon to the new William Henry Harrison Riverfront Park, a space that promises to enhance the community's connection with nature and each other. This melodious instrument will not only enrich the park's ambiance but also create a harmonious atmosphere for visitors of all ages to enjoy. Your support in this initiative will play a vital role in bringing this vision to life. Together, we can create a lasting legacy that resonates through music and community engagement for years to come.

"Where words fail, music speaks."

Other areas of interest...
We look forward— after much renovation and planning— to reopen the Betts House, Ohio’s oldest brick house, to the public for limited tours this year. The Kemper log cabin, located in the Historic Southwest Ohio area at Sharon Woods Park, is open all year and is the largest draw for that park!

By refreshing our gallery at the Cincinnati Art Museum we will provide a better experience for younger audiences, with different levels, tactile displays and interactive screens.

And we are combining our resources and efforts with Historic Southwest Ohio as they host a huge celebration this summer for Jane Austen’s 250th birthday!
